As the first Product Design hire and longest tenured member of the Product team, I have helped guide the evolution of Daily Harvest's
digital platform over the last 4 years of rapid growth, contributing to the company's $1.1 billion valuation.
In a player/coach role, I am responsible for continued hands-on design of our web and app e-commerce products, while hiring and leading a team of product designers. My investment in team culture and mentorship has lead to reports of all levels saying I'm the best manager they've ever had, seeing tangible growth in their skills and careers. As an individual contributor, my solution oriented, "reduce the swirl," approach to design makes me a desired cross-functional partner for shipping product features.
Highlights include: attracting, retaining and working along side amazing talent; establishing a robust design system; keeping the frontend simple while supporting increasing backend complexity; adding a UX Writing function to the scope of our team; directing Work & Co's
redesign of our iOS app; an ongoing focus on accessibility and product inclusion; creating more surface area to highlight our food and mission, while simplifying core flows.
